The Voice of Meteorology Radio, which was broadcasting on shortwave from 1962 to 2004, started to make its voice heard in 2004 under the name Meteor Fm on the FM band 92.4 frequency in Ankara, and as of February 1, 2008, again under the name "The Voice of Meteorology Radio".
